extra credit assignment news

Thanks to all the people that came out to the show last Sunday! It felt good to be back on stage playing again even though we had our share of technical problems. Thanks again to Scat for playing guitar with us. We look forward to playing more shows this summer and will keep you posted right here.

We're finally back online after almost a year of being dormant. The site is very minimalist right now but it's functional. I'm sure you have many questions such as "what the hell have you guys been doing for the last year?"

First off - we have a show coming up on 5 June. This is our first show in Chicago in 6 months and we will be releasing our new EP Hands of the Architect. More information is available on the shows page.

The last year was spent finishing our EP which took far longer than anyone imagined and was delayed as we re-shaped as a band. It's finished now and it sounds unbelievable. Thanks to Jim at Ambush for helping us get such crushing tones. To listen to a couple selections visit our myspace page.

Doug is no longer playing with the extra credit assignment. He left so he can concentrate on other aspects of his life. We are still in contact with him and there is a possibility of us playing a "send off" show with Doug for later this summer. Replacing Doug on guitar is Greg Henkin (Overtone). Matt Zirbes (Monster Trux) will be playing with us on the June 5th show.
